peterle is on a distinguished road
Hey all,

at the moment I run a simulation of an inlet channel which is connected to porous media. I expect turbulence in the inlet channel, but no turbulence in the porous media. When i switch to any turbulence model in the inlet fluid domain, the fluid model in the porous domain is automatically changed to the applied turbulence model as well.

I have more variables due to the turbulence model. I understand that I also have to solve the additional equations in the porous media when I don't define the additional variables or boundary conditions at the porous-fluid interface. Nevertheless, is there any way to solve the N-S-equations in the porous media without the turbulence model?

Thanks for your help
Peter
