Hello all,

I usually save more interesting chapter links under the CFX Online Help 'favorites' tab (or whatever it's called in the english language version):

Question. Any time I reinstall a new CFX version or install a same version onto a different computer, I find the 'favorites' tab empty, in vergine state - is there a way to save the 'favorites' to a file and reload 'em into a new installation ?

Thanks & nice day.

you cant copy the favourites from an old version to the newer purely because the help files are different.

if you are upgrading computers and use windows you can copy the microsoft HTML help favourites file (hh.dat) which is usualy located at

C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Microsoft\HTML Help

ckleanth,

copying favorites from cfx11 to 12 - true, changed Help.
But while installing 11 onto another PC there is no change,
so evtl favorites file should be reimportable if exportable from former PC.

Thanks & nice day.

P.S. Couldn't find that path: C:\...\HTML Help
