I am running transitional simulation in CFX12 with a high angle of attack. The similar simulation under the same operating conditions but with 0 deg angle of attack has also been done and a converged results was obtained (001.res). then I use this 001.res as initial data to start running high angle of attack case, but no convergence at all no matter what I have tried. why is it? Could you please give me some ideas on it? how to obtain converged result for the high incidence angle case?
many thanks, littlelz |

I would guess it's transient. Try running transient for a while and see if this converges.
