I am new to cfx and I am trying to create an executable which could feed inputs design of axial flow pumps into cfx for cfx to solve . So far i can't seem to call ansys directly within matlab. I wonder if this is possible with any other programming languages like say c++ or c? Also is it possible to create/compile an executable which could feed inputs into cfx for it to generate a 3d model without using any cad tools?

Are you looking to feed the inputs in as just a run set up or as a dynamic link during solution. The first option can easily be done using perl/shell/batch scripts and the second can be done with user fortran.

Thanks for the reply. For the moment, I want to make it as a run setup for an experiment.
What i am trying to do is to to skip all the repeating routines of selecting new simulation > turbomachinery > machine type - pump, component def, etc and go straight to the solver and simulating the flow. Is there any webpage or online helpfiles with a list of script commands for cfx11? |

Look in the CFX documentation. You can run pretty much all the CFX suite from the command line using scripts so that should do what you want.
