Seems pretty obvious to me. The file you are trying to write, I assume a particle tracking file is very large. Try recording less particle tracks or moving to a 64 bit OS.

thanks glenn,
i will try your solution. but am trying to simulate only (400 particles/sec) whether it cause problem and now the simulation time is only (.25sec) |

The number of points in the tracking file = average number of points * timestep * residence time. Reduce any of these numbers and you will reduce the size of the particle tracks file.

thanks glenn.
could you explain me little bit more. i couldn't able to reduce the time step and residence time is not in my hands.then what i can do now? |

Isn't that obvious? The only thing left is to reduce the number of particles.

I had not have a res fike only trn. So I changed the extension from trn to res and used this file as initial condition. best regards pblasiak |

I would be suspicious that your output file (either output, results or particle file) is corrupt and will be unreadable.
I would save a backup file and check all the key output files to see if they are OK. |
