Default Theory for periodic boundary condition

Dear members,

I am looking for Theory regarding periodic boundary condition in ANSYS CFX 11/12, I couldn't find it in documentation.
If anybody has some idea, it will be highly appreciated.

A periodic boundary just has all flow variables mapped from one side of the periodic boundary to the equivalent place on the other side.

not yet have found anything in ANSYS CFX documentation related with periodic bc.

As Far says, any CFD textbook will have this.

Also my last post pretty much sums it up - is it not clear?
