Hi.
Does CFX have a population balance model? I've read about the MUSIG model for polydispersed flows, but this is only applicable for bubbles and liquid drops(?) I'm having solid particles who has a log-normal distribution. Any ideas about how to put this up? Cheers! |

Hi
I've done some investigation into MUSIG - it uses a popuulation balance with source and birth terms derive from breakup and coalescence models (originally developed for air bubbles in water). I'm pretty sure this is suitable for solids, you just need to change the models for coalescence and breakup to models more suitable with solids. Hope that hlelps |
