as of now i assumed that my flow is incompressible and ran the problem.
I'm simulating turbo machine problem. i would like to simulate compressible(real) model in my problem. I'm simulating turbine problem. so pressure, temperature and density at inlet to outlet vary. i know the pressure and temperature at in & outlet. using some general relationship i could find the density at in & outlet. how do i find the varying property(density) of fluid through out the domain? In cfx solver we are giving property of fluid with respect to standard temperature (ex:25°C). if my problem is about 500°c means solver may automatically calculate the property for this temperature? if it won't means how or where do i get it? |

Sounds like you should look at the tutorial titled "Flow in an axial rotor-stator". This will show how this sort of simulation should be set up. While you are reading have a look in the best practices guide for turbomachinery, also in the documentation.

Hi,
you have to use CEL function to vary the fluid property.think first is it needed for your problem? |
