Hi,
CFX supports porous regions. Look in the documentation for details. But I am guessing this is not what you are looking for - do you mean you want to do wall boundary layer suction like in a wind tunnel? If you can describe what type of flow you are trying to model we might be of more assistance. Glenn Horrocks |

thanks for your suggestion..Well, my problem is, i need to specify a wall as no slip wall and at the same time i want to inject a gas from it by placing a hole.i need to specify only normal component of velocity at the wall and tangential component as zero.which boundary condition i can use for this contest in CFX.
Can anyone please help me in this regard. Last edited by nagarjuna reddy; July 13, 2009 at 10:43. |

The thread got pointed to by another post...
The answer is to use a mass source on a wall boundary. This will allow for the creation of a prescribed mass flow rate of fluid but retains a no slip wall boundary. |
