Hello dear
I am doing my work on Fluid structure interaction on Anyss CFX-11 . I am unable to find internal coupling e.g. if i have to do the fluid structure interaction within a pipe how can i do so. I have found external coupling but unable to find internal coupling Please send me the procedure to do so in ansys cfx Waiting for a healthy reply With regards Muhammad Umair Nazar |

What do you mean by "internal coupling"? To my knowledge there is no such thing. External coupling means coupling the CFX solver to the ANSYS structural solver via the MFX solver.

Hello dear
I want to study of Fluid structure interaction in pipe flow(oil flow pipes or blood flow arteries) Can we model this problem through Ansys CFX please give reference of any tutorial if possible Although i have done all the tutorials of Ansys CFX in which two tutorials are of the FSI in respect of external flow, but our problem is related to internal flow Your solution and advice will be highlyappreciated Waiting for an early response Regrads Umair |

hi:
check www.ansys.com (demo room)...there is a demo on blood flow(FSI)... cfx solver for fluid and ansys solver for solid are coupled to perform fsi modeling... |
