Good Moning Everybody,
Please if every one can answer me, i am doing a simulation in 2D Can i use L.E.S as a turbulence Model in 2D simulation because L.E.S turbulence model is very robust Thank you in advance |

Hi,
You cannot run LES in 2D. LES requires at least part of the turbulence energy cascade to be modelled and this is an inherently 3D process, even in a 2D geometry. If you want to run in 2D you need a RANS turbulence model. Glenn Horrocks |
