This sound like high school physics to me! If you can't work this out then I can't see you have much hope in CFD.

Do you mean the Swirl No.?
I have attached a plot of the definition of Swirl No on the plane "out" below using CFX 11+. Remember to activate cylindrical velocities under "Turbo" to use the formula directly. - DR.
