could you help me whith these titles in CFX? Hi,
I think your table is about 90% wrong. The solution technique line is wrong, CFX cannot do 2D, CFX does not do structured multiblock meshes (it treats them as unstructured meshes) and Fluent can do both structured and unstructured meshes, Fluent does not have a 150k cell limit, Fluent can be driven by the GUI, CFX and Fluent offer more turbulence models than listed, both CFX and fluent offer lagrangian particle tracking (and eularian models too), Fluent can do multi-phase... etc etc. Why are you comparing the codes? Hi,
CFX V11 (the current version) has very little in common with CFX 3 and 4. The Flow3D days even predate this so any information you have about Flow3D has no relevance to the current CFX. Also note Flow3D is the name of a totally indepandant CFD solver which focusses on free surface flows, this software has nothing to do with CFX at all. I guess the paper you got this comparison from is probably 15 years old and totally out of date. Throw the paper out and contact the vendors of the software for more up to date capability lists.
