Hi all,
I am working on a heat transfer problem, in which a hot gas perpendicular to the flow comes and impinges on the structural plate. for this i simulated a enclosure cell flow with 0.05 ft/s velocity and 25 C temperature (Air Ideal gas) and the hot flow from a source is of 0.3 ft/s velocity and 2000 F temp. i am observing a temperature drop of 800 F with in a gap limit of 4 inches. i mean the distance between the source and the plate is 4 inches. i think this drop of 800 F is unphysical, could anybody help me by confirming whther this drop is physically correct? |
