Hi,
Does CFX solve Eqn 20, Eqn 22 and Eqn 24? or just Eqn 20 and Eqn 24? (CFX Theory pag 128-129) I'm nor sure how to handle multiphase inhomogeneous hydrodynamic equations. Thanks Miguel Baritto |

Equations 20 and 24 are actually solved by the Solver.

Hi,
Equation 24 is the discretised version of 22 (with some accounting for conservation of total mass). So CFX solves equation 24 (with the appropriate time derivative discretisation) and a discretised version of equation 20. For the inhomogeneous multiphase model, CFX solves a set of these for each phase... Hope that helps, latslosh. |
