Hi everybody!! Can I simulate a double glazing with cfx? the glass isn't opaque, how can I set that is semitransparent, if I can choose only opaque? every help should be very appreciated. thanks

Hi,
Simulation double glazing - yes. Read the manual on radiation modelling. There is also some information on the CFX community site about calculating comfort factors. Glenn Horrocks |

Thank you very much for your answer.It's a good news that i can simulate the double glazing, even though I read the manual and many posts in cfx forum, but I haven't understood how simulate a transparent media, for example a glass...it isn't opaque... could you suggest me some websites, examples or book where I could read more information... thanks again!!

Hi,
In material properties you can set opacity and other parameters relevant to radiation. I think you might need to contact CFX support for examples, I don't have any. Glenn Horrocks |
