Default mesh stiffness

Hi everyone!

I am triing to simulate FSI of a bridge structure. It works, the FEM model deforms and the fluid flow changes. My problem is it works only if i have very low deformation but if it increases the stagger iterations increase dramatically and it fails to converge as i have negative volumes. I don't know if the mesh stiffness parameter is wrong or whatever.

Can anybody guess my problem?

Thanks, Geri
