Hi all,
I want to simulate mass diffusion in a porous media. I was able to do a fluid flow simulation but could not figure out how to model a diffusion problem (for example diffusion of dye in water). I am interested in plotting concentration vs. time at the outlet until influent concentration level is reached. Please guide me through this problem. I have beginner level skills st CFX, so any help would be very helpful. Thanks, Rahul P.S Here's the link to the geometry I'm working with. http://www.flickr.com/photos/3178316...40591/sizes/o/ |

I think you can consider use additional variable to deal with this problem. just use poission equation or diffusive transport equation. good luck to you.

Thanks Frank.
I have never used additional variables, but I'll work on it. Rahul |
