Automatic Wall Treatment

Hi,
I have a question concerning the automatic wall function. I read that this model blend omega and u_tau at the wall and set k to zero. I wonder, how one treats the kinetic energy production at the wall!? And I am not sure, how one would do the implementation approach for the u_tau condition. I think one would adjust the viscosity at the wall, but I am not sure, how to set!? The scalable wall function is just usefull for high-Re models, when using small y+ values, isn't? Would be nice, if you have any suggestion or articles for my questions! Thanks! Fab |
