Hi all,
I am reading about mapping algorithm at the interface for multiphysic problems(FSI). According to the ansys document, it says "global method(mapping) has a complexity where n is the number of nodes mapped onto m elements. If n and m are of the same order, the time required to compute the mapping grows quadratically!. This leads to computational inefficiency, especially for large models." Does anybody know the reason behind this? |
