Default Discontinuous contours on R/S interfaces

Hi, all.

I modelled a two stage centrifugal compressor, and six R/S interfaces exist because of additional two port cavities. The frame change type is Frozen Rotor, and pitch angles are specified for them.

The pressure on inlet and outlet, both static and total, are well agreed with the test data. I used to thought I run the model successfully. But there are discontinuties through R/S interfaces, mainly on total pressure and total temperature. They differed very much. Therefore, velocity and mach number are different across the R/S interfaces.

I can not figure it out why this happen. Can anybody show me some explanations?

Thanks in advance.

I got it. It should take quantities in stn frame into consideration within a MFR system. ^_^

Is there a pitch change on the frozen rotor interface? If so, the profiles get stretched or compressed when crossing the interface. This is documented in the help.

a) Use hybrid values not conservative. b) Make sure you compare stationary frame values (apples to apples).
