Hi all, I am solving gas-liquid system using Eulerian-Eulerian Approach. The gas volume fraction in some cells exceeds the maximum packing limit of 0.63. By selecting the maximum packing limit in Fluid details>> Dispersed Fluid>> Morphology ; did not make any difference. The volume fraction of 0.9 was achived in most of the cells.
Query: How can i limit the volume fraction value to 0.63? Do i need to write routine.... and how to connect it with the solver? your help and time will be appriciated the most. Thanks |

Mohini, tell us something about the physics of your problem. Do you expect that in the physical problem, you will have less than 0.63 volume fraction, and is this why you're trying to limit it to that value, or is there another reason for limiting it ? Also, what turbulence model are you using ?

Its a gas-liquid system. Gas-dispersed phase. I am using hte standard k-e model. I am solving the inhomogeneous system for fluids (ie Eulerian-Eulerian approache for two phase system).
