Heat Flux display in CFX post

Hi-
Using ANSYS CFX, I have obtained a transient solution with heat transfer. I want to look at the heat fluxes and can't figure out how. In the drop down menu of variables, i can find the temperature, pressure and velocities, but not the heat flux. I can see Heat Flux in the list of Variables. But don't know how to view the results for that variable. Any help? Thanks in advance |

Did you try clicking the three dots beside the variables drop down menu?

Do as johnny suggests (click on '...'), then scroll down to 'Wall heat flux' (not 'Heat flux') if it's heat fluxes at surfaces you want, which it usually is.
As for fluxes within the interior of a domain, I've not figured that out quite myself.... but then I rarely want that anyway. Good luck, andy |

yea..I figured that out eventually...Btw, what is the difference between WALL HEAT FLUX and HEAT FLUX?
