Inlet Profile with CFX-Pre

Hello all,
Could someone help me out with this problem? I have a structured mesh and I would to introduce an inlet profile in the shape of a step function (on-off-on) to simulate the velocity flow behind in the wake region behind a turbine blade. Is this possible in cfx-pre? I know there is an option to set a simple inlet profile in cfx-pre but the profile I am creating will almost divide the inlet into three regions, if you will. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Hi,
Look in the reference manual under CEL. Use either the step function or a 1D interpolation function. Glenn Horrocks |
