Hi everyone!
I am doing an erosion analysis on the blades of the centrifugal compressor. I am trying to predict the erosion map but facing an issue. During the sand particles injection, the Leading edge of the blade is the most affected area but in my case, it shows the trailing edge as the most affected one. Can anyone tell me please why is it happening? I am using ANSYS CFX for my simulations. |

It is happening because you have not set up the simulation correctly.
What have you got wrong on the setup? Well, that is the tricky bit. This FAQ may help: https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansy..._inaccurate.3F
