How do i calculate an average result from a transi

How do i calculate an average result from a transient run? I have saved like a 100 trn files but how do i calculate an average result for streamlines for example?

As far as i know, you can't do this after a transient run has completed. You have to do this in Pre program.
When you set-up a transient run, go into the 'Output Control' option. There should be a tabel there called 'Trn Stats'. From here you can specify to calculate average values for any of the variables in the list. I usually select all of the variables in the list as CFX can only generate average data for some of them. Your best strategy is to re-start your transient run with averaging set to on. |
