Hi,everyone. I just don't know what "turbulence intermittency" exactlly mean. While it equals 0 to represent laminar flow, it equals 1 to represent turbulent flow. Is that right? What does the intermittency mear when it is bigger than 1(e.g. =1.9954)?

I think it's something about the transition. But I don't know the exact meaning.
