Dear All,
I have installed ansys and Cfx-11 on a new m/c(with 64 bit windows)having two quadcores. But when I starts a Run with a definition file (already I have checked with a single Quadcore and 64 bit windows),it gives an error,it doesnt even runs serially. In out file I found a msg,"solver-pvm.exe doe not exists in Ansys cfx Root/V110/cfx/bin/winnt".I checked it in the cfx root directory,it is not there, but it is in another similar directory of winnt64(which is for 64bit os installation). Now I am not getting the problem. So can u pls help me. Thanks and Regards, Pankaj. |

I am having the same problem.
The only work around I have found is to choose a custom solver executable in the solver tab. I can only run it in serial, as PVM or MPI doesn't work. But I only have one Quadcore. |
