Stop without res?

Is possible stop in CFX-solver whitout res? Regards. |

With out res? Do you mean restarting, getting a .res file? If you mean restarting then yes, click stop and the .res file will save, then when you want to come bac to it, in teh solver definition window click inital results file and click on your half finished calculation...
Not sure if thats what you were after tho Steve |

Camilo Costa, u can stop the calculation and then delete the res file in the working directory. Because a res file will be generated automatically. Wish help...

Dear Friends.
I would like to know if it is possible to stop a simulation without creating the result file, because when I am monitoring the medium temperature of the simulation I observe that she is not walking for the wanted solution. |

Why not just kill the solver process? Use the 'top' or 'kill' commands on Linux/Unix, or use'End Task' on the 'Task Manager' utility on Windows.
It's ugly but it works... Andy |
