I must be doing something wrong. How do I view more than the final time step in a transient case in CFX Post?
Do I need to modify the save setting of the solver, or is it something easily done in CFX Post? Sorry... I'm still a little new at this. |

Yes you need to change the save setting in the solver. CFX Pre should give you a warning that there's no Transient Results.
You need to set the output frequency of the transient results in the Output Control in CFX Pre |

Dear Dre,
in my transient simulation, the output created many *.trn according to my output frequency. i would like to plot the temperature at a certain point from all these *.trn files. where in the CFX help can i get some idea how to start plotting graphs please?

If you already have the files, then use a point in Post, and plot whatever variable you want in a chart.
Hint: In Pre you can set up monitor points to get values during the calculation. |
