Hi,
I ran a transient laminar flow simulation. I dont know the pressure and the velocity at the outlet as a priori. What type of boundary condition should I use? Thanks, --Selim |

Hi,
Well, you have to know something about the boundary. If the boundary location you have chosen is not known then try moving the boundary further downstream to where it exits to atmosphere (therefore a known pressure) or some other known feature. Glenn Horrocks |

Hi,
In Fluent there is outlet BC in which the normal gradient of the variables other than pressure is zero and it is applied when pressure and velocity is not known a priori. What should I do , no idea in CFX ( I cannot extend the domain further downstream) Anyway, thanks for the comment --Selim |
