Default Import solid object and become sufaces

Hi

I imported a solid object but the Designmodeler shows that it is not a solid but of some surfaces. I checked the model and it is water tight. What else I need to check?

Is it possible to treat these surfaces as thin surface to skip the problem?

Thanks

Ahlo

I had similar things happen. When I go slice the model, it looks like surfaces, also, when I slice a stress result, it only has surfaces, as well. However, when you slice the mesh, it's solid.

I worked with Ansys tech support, but as I open the file with the support on the phone, it fixed it self.

I think it's a bug of some sort, or maybe we don't have the correct setting. Maybe just try close and restart ansys.
