Could you please tell me how to get HTC (Heat Transfer Coefficient) in CFX out put results? I would like to know whether CFX can give HTC values of an object if it dissipates power in natural of forced air convection.

If I can remember correctly, you can't. You'd have to create a function with the definition of the HTC.

Thiago - you are incorrect. CFX has the HTC as a variable in the results file for a simulation with heat transfer.

To access it you have to click on the "..." button on CFX-Post.

Also, note the HTC is referenced to a "far" temperature. By default the far temperature is the variable (I think this is its name) "wall adjacent temperature". You can use a expert parameter to fix this far temperature to any value you like for comparison to published data.
