Felix123 is on a distinguished road
Hello at all,

i am new to multiphase flow simulation. I have the following problem:
1) Condensation of water vapour and 2) Melting of a solid.
Is it possible to simulate with CFX regarding to the Wall Condensation Model and Phase Changel Model or is Fluent with melting and solidification model recommoneded? Are there any case references for the general setting (for quicker familisation) I did not find it yet.

Thank you in advance.
Felix

CFX has many condensation models. Note there are many different types of condensation - wall, homogenous, cavitation collapse, bubbles, free surface and many more. You will need to choose the appropriate model for the physics you have. There are tutorial examples for all these cases so they are the place to start.

CFX does not have a melting or a solidification model. You can do this in CFX, but you have to develop the model yourself so it is not something for a beginner. So if you want a solidifcation or melting model ready to use then you better look at different software.
