Default aerosol cfx simulation

Hi,

I just started on CFX and I am trying an aerosol streaming simulation.

I spray an aerosol in a room for 5 minutes and I want to know how much I got on the surface of the room afterwards.

Does anyone know how to use the CFX-Post to show this?

I hope someone can help me.

Hi,

I assume you used a lagrangian particle tracking model to do this simulation. Can't CFX show where the particle tracks hit the walls? Then you can count the impacts.

Hi,

yes, I am going to use a lagrangian particle tracking model.

I dont know if CFX can show where the particle hits the wall. I havent found that option yet in the CFX-Post. Does anyone know, how to do that? I am really new at CFX.

I am also trying to spray an aerosol into a room. Doesn't CFX allow us to see the 'concentration' of the particle by using a plane slice?

Hi Sean,

can you tell me how you set up the aerosol? Does CFX have standard settings for aerosol?

Or can anyone else tell me?

I hit a road block on that. Right now I am just trying to use a particle simulation similar to the tutorial with the butterfly valve.

I also could really use some help with an Aerosol model. If anyone else could help that would be great, even if it is just some links were someone else has done something similar. I have tried using goggle but to little success.
