Hi everybody
I simulate gas dispersion in atmosphere, how can I know turbulence intensity and length scale in air inlet or gas inlet? Thanks |

Hi,
This should be reported in the experimental results you are trying to reproduce. Glenn Horrocks |

Hi It's a field experiment and I have only wind data (speed, direction) with time and height. I havent any turbulency data!

Hi,
Look in the literature and find what a typical atmospheric turbulence profile would be then. Also, depending on the simulation it might not be that sensitive to the exact turbulence level so a guess is OK. This is problem dependant and needs to be checked. Glenn Horrocks |
