ResidenceTimeDistribution-RTD: Particle Tracking

Hi, I am using CFX11.0. I am trying to estimate the 'Residence Time Distribution (RTD)' in the Pipe flow utilizing the "Particle Trajectories". In the export /CFX post I am unable to find the 'Number of Particles' tracked. The interest here is to find the time spent by each particle in the region from INLET to OUTLET (particle residence time). This will give me the distribution of particle fraction in for each/specific time interval. Thus I can achieve RTD in pipe.
Any type of hint or suggestions are welcome. With best regards Mohan R. |
