Dear friends,
I am trying to run a 2-way coupled Fluid structure interaction problem in ANSYS. In this case, as you know, both ANSYS and CFX solver starts same time. I wanted to transfer pressure, temperature and wall heat transfer coefficients from CFX to ANSYS( in a transient mode). But when I introduce the interface between fluid and structure for transformation of results in this 2way coupled simulation e.g. by defining a wall between fluid and structure and saying: Mesh Motion- Option: ANSYS Multifield, Receive from ANSYS: total mesh displacement, ANSYS Interface: FSIN_1, Send to ANSYS: Total force and Heat transfer- Option: ANSYS Multifield, Receive from ANSYS: wall heat flow, ANSYS Interface: FSIN_1, Send to ANSYS: Temperature, It gives me following ERROR: ""Export results are unavailable as no suitable boundaries exist for use as export surfaces. Mesh motion on a boundary invalids its use as an export surface."" Thanks Sohail Germany |

Check if solid-fluid interface surfaces are matching exactly. Any difference between them can cause this error.
Best luck, Chirag |
