Default Error reading transient results

Hi,

I'm writing transient results files every time step and when I try to read any of them into the post-processor, I get the following error:

ERROR Error reading file '/home/Simulations/GB/XXX.trn': Error reading dataset G/COMMANDS

This time, the only thing I made different was to write some "selected variables" instead of the default output variables and to choose the maximum compression option. Is there anything wrong with this procedure? Does anyone know why it might be happening? I'm using CFX 11.

Thanks, Magnoli.

Dear Magnoli,

You need to load your final results file, and then use the Timestep Selector.

Transient results files written with the Selected Variable option cannot be loaded individually unless you have enabled 'Inlcude Mesh'.

Alternatively, use the options Standard or Smalllest when selecting a Transient File type - these can be read directly by CFX-Post.

Regards,

Johnson

Hi

I am receiving the exactly same error message

the difference is I am running a steady state simulation

when I use selected variable, I receive this message, on the other hand when I am using standard variables in output control, it never shows up

Can you help me??

Thanks in advance

Regards
