Hi, Its a turbomachinery problem. I need to plot Isentropic Mach number at the mid span of the blade. But this is not listed in the library. Can anyone tell me how to express this function with a equation?

Dear Hamidur,

Assuming you meant Mach number, it is supplied as part of the solution of compressible flows. Otherwise, what do you mean by isentropic Mach number?

The Mach number in CFX is defined as

Mach = Local speed / sqrt(drho/dp_entropy)
