HOW TO EXPORT FROM ICEM TO ABAQUS

Hi all, i ve a problem in exporting my mesh file from icem cfd to abaqus(*.inp) i am getting an error as "File D:/New Folder 1/imran1.par doesn't exist Please open ABAQUS params menu, set solver parameters and Press <Accept> button to create abaqus.par file." anybody has a soln for this problem? thanks in advance

Hi,
I think ICEM needs an additional license option to write ABAQUS files. Do you have this license option? Glenn Horrocks |

Select the solver - Abaqus. Then save the project. There should be a button for 'Parameters' - where you set element type, etc. You can also set BCs if desired, I think. Then try output.

Thanks Myron and Horrocks i got it through that abaqus solver option. and i ve tried applying the BC but i couldnt get those condn in Abaqus after importing. thanks a lot Siva.K
