Porous Domain

Hy everone, I am new to CFX. I am using CFX11.I want to model the air flow through honeycomb gril. Honeycomb is a porous medium with octagonal holes. I want to model honeycomb as a porous domain. Can anyone help me please???????????????

select domain porous instead of fluid while selecting the domain, give the properties to u r own material in material library.

I think u also need to find out the properties of your porous medium first, such as the linear and quadratic constants.

You can also see the catalitic coverter in the tutorials files, I think that could be a good start.
