hi
i'm simulating a dispersion of pollutants on atmosphere. the pollutants are emited from a source as an additional variabele, which are different from the air. But in the CFX-pre, there is no any option for setting the characteristic of the addition variable(pollutants). i wonder how to set the characteristic of the additon variable like the density, buoyancy etl. Thank you very much! by the way ,i want to make friend who are also interested in this field. |

Hi,
The additional variable approach does not use density, buoyancy etc. The only parameter is dissipation. If you want to include density and buoyancy effects you will need to use a multicomponent multiphase model, or some other multiphase model. Glenn Horrocks |
