Hello all,
I am pretty new in using ICEM-CFD. I want to know whether ICEM-CFD can read a geometry modelled in ANSYS Workbench. What has to be done to accomplish this? |

Hello Mr Srivatsan,
Yes, the DM file can be read directly in ICEM inside the Workbench. Once the model is done and 'generated' go to the 'Project' tab and then choose 'Proceed to Advanced Meshing'. It opens ICEM CFD inside the Workbench itself with the current geometry in DM. Hope this helps you. Regards Anantha |

You can also use File>Import Geometry>Workbench Readers within ICEM CFD to load your DM model.
