Hello the community,
I have found that for implementing user defined anisotropic turbulent heat flux closure you can do it by editing ccl file like below:
--------------------
FLOW:
DOMAIN: Domain 1
FLUID MODELS:
HEAT TRANSFER MODEL:
Option = Thermal Energy
TURBULENT FLUX CLOSURE:
Option = User Defined
uh = 1. [m^3 s^-3]
vh = 2. [m^3 s^-3]
wh = 3. [m^3 s^-3]
END
END
END
END
END
-------------------------------

But when i run this ccl, it says there is no 'user defined' option available.
Can somebody help me please??

By the Way I wanted to Implement algebraic turbulent heat flux equation in CFX. I would be happy for any help.

May I ask what Ansys CFX version you are using?

I cannot see how you got TURBULENT FLUX CLOSURE under HEAT TRANSFER MODEL to work for you at all. Once you pass that hurdle, the next one is to access the User Defined Option.

Did you get some custom configuration from support? perhaps incomplete?

Thanks for your reply,

If you choose turbulent heat flux closure in fluids tap, this option will appear in CCL. The default option is eddy diffusivity ant turbulent pr no. It does not give any error for that but user defined is the problem. No i,m not in touch with ansys support.

I am sorry, but I cannot make it show up in the CFX-Pre user interface.

From what I can see in the Ansys CFX configuration files for the user interface, and the "rules". There is no such option in the standard installation files.

Perhaps you want to elaborate more on what else you set up for your model. Can you make it show up in one of the simple tutorials? then describe which steps you did for them to show.

I checked 2021R2 and 2022R1, and I could not see it.
