Negative static pressure

Hi everyone!
I'm simulating a compressible multiphase model using redlich kwong equation of state. My inlet conditions were velocities, reference pressure is 1atm, outlet average static pressure is zero. The results show negative pressure almost in all regions which is a problem for compressible flow according to Cfx help. But when I check the distribution of velocities, even the profile of pressure graph and pressure recovery, the results agree well with experiment. Do you have any suggestion on how to correct the results for static pressure? (e.g. initial conditions, solver control..) Thanks a lot guys! Ariel |

A negative pressure means negative with respect to the reference pressure. I think you should look to abolute pressure which is ref.Pressure+Pressure.
