Hi there,
I am very new to CFX11 and if it possible, I would like to know the way to upload grid from my own code to CFX11. when I was browsing through, found an option that its possible with Tecplot, but I could not do with that. I have used very old version Tecplot 7.5. First of all can we upload our grid to CFX11? if it possible, could you please suggest me the better way? Old version of Tecplot(TEcplot 7.5) causing problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Bye! |

Hi Thandavam,
I wrote C code to generate my grid and wrote output file in Tecplot format which could be uploaded to Workbench11. |

Hi Subba,
Alternatively, you could write a custom import routine to read your grid file directly. You can find documentation on the grid import API in the help. Regards, Robin |

Hi Robin,
That looks a straight way to solve my problem. I will give a try. Thanks for that. |
