Merging mesh elements in ICEM

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible in ICEM CFD to merge some mesh elements. I have a structured 2D mesh (no thickness yet) with low Y+ values and I would like to blend the first few elements normal to the wall to increase the Y+ without changing the mesh in the core flow. Does anyone know if there is any way this can be done without re-creating blocks, re-assigning edges, etc... ? Thanks ! Felix |

Under Edit Mesh > Merge Nodes you can do node merging - but I'm not sure you can pick more than 2 nodes at a time - so what you want to do may be quite tedious... It might be faster to delete the extra elements - then just merge the outer node with the inner node.
