Hello,
I am trying to study of effect of types of groove casing on performance of axial compressor, in my case - Rotor 67. Fortunately, I found a video on this case and I've been following it. The problem is I am not able to make an interface between shroud and groove inlet as the video demonstrates at 12:20. Here's the video link - https://youtu.be/HeVdLJTBKxM While box selecting the area, only the outer part OR border gets captured unlike the video in which the whole rectangular area(groove inlet) gets selected. Please have a look at the attached image. I also tried by changing selection tool - Fully enclosed and Touching and enclosed. Didn't work. Does anyone know where am I going wrong? Thanks |

Have you tried defining the faces as named selections? If that is possible then it is easy to select them.
Alternately you can use the face selection tool to select the face. You might need to run through a long list of faces until you find the right one, but it should be in the list somewhere.
