problems with paddlewheel

hello,
i try to run a simulation of a paddlewheel rotating in a pipe with ansys cfx11. therefore the rotation velocity of the wheel should be calculated form the torque on the paddles. for the simulation i specified two grids (paddlewheel, pipe) and defined two domains. the one with the paddlewheel is set to have a rotating domain motion and the pipe is stationary. for the domaininterface i've choosen the transient rotor/stator option. the torque on the paddlewheel can easyly be found in CEL by the torque_z()@paddle command. but for the calculation of the angular velocity i need the value of the angular velocity from the timestep before to add the actual delta. has anyone a suggestion how to get that value? i'm glad about any hints and helps. if anyone knows a better way to rotate the paddle i'm keen on get to know too. so thanks in advance. regards, flar.t |

sorry, i forgot something. there is one variable for CEL expressions availble: "rotation velocity". but i can't find a discription anywhere in the help-files what it means and how to use it... so if anyone has an idea...
thanks, flar.t |
